CHURCH ROAD IN 1947
Just posted this in reply to another thread, thought people would like to see it separately. The numbers are 1: English Martyrs 2: Church Road 3: The Regal Cinema 4: Site of St Wilfrid’s High School 5: The Old Rectory of St. Philips Church built in the 1860s (I’ve a close up photo somewhere, it was pulled down not long afterwards) 6: Litherland Central School 7: Springfield Park 8: Prefabs (when new).
